In the wild 1 in 10,000 lobsters born will make it to adulthood. At the Northumberland Seafood Hatchery, they have changed that statistic to 1 in 50, by looking after them at such vulnerable stages of the lobster’s lives. 
I have used deep blue toned cyanotypes dripping down glass to show the four key stages of a lobster’s life cycle at the hatchery as opposed to the wild, to draw upon the work the hatchery is doing.
